HolidayHive is operated by Atlantico Reisen und Services in Zurich.

1. Introduction

HolidayHive is a public travel website and customer portal operated by Atlantico Reisen und Services, Militärstrasse 83, 8004 Zürich, Switzerland. These Terms apply when you browse the website, create an account, submit a stay or trip request, request a gift voucher, receive an offer, use the customer portal, or communicate with HolidayHive.

Please read these Terms before submitting or accepting a booking. Additional supplier-specific terms, cancellation rules, house rules, passenger conditions, local charges or payment deadlines may apply to the travel service you request.

2. Role of HolidayHive

HolidayHive curates travel ideas, accommodation listings, trips and special offers, then coordinates a manual request-to-book process. Depending on the product and supplier arrangement, HolidayHive may act as an organiser, reseller, intermediary or agent. The exact position and supplier-specific conditions will be communicated where relevant before final confirmation.

Where an independent accommodation provider, transport company, tour operator or other supplier provides part of the travel service, that supplier remains responsible for delivering its own service according to the confirmed terms.

3. Request-to-Book Process

A customer selects a stay, trip or travel idea and submits a booking request with dates, traveller numbers, contact details and relevant notes. The initial request is not an instant confirmed booking unless HolidayHive clearly states otherwise in writing.

HolidayHive checks availability, supplier confirmation, final price, payment and cancellation conditions, required documents and practical travel details. Where required, HolidayHive sends an offer or confirmation step for customer acceptance. A binding booking exists only when the applicable offer, confirmation, payment requirement and supplier terms say it does.

4. Prices, Currency and Pricing Errors

Displayed prices may appear in CHF or EUR and may be “from” prices, nightly rates, per-person prices or indicative package prices. Taxes, local tourist taxes, resort fees, cleaning or service charges, deposits, optional extras and supplier charges may be shown separately or payable locally where applicable.

Before final confirmation, HolidayHive may correct obvious typographical errors, technical mistakes, incorrect supplier pricing, currency conversion errors or stale inventory. We will not use this clause to make arbitrary price changes after a booking has become binding.

5. Booking Eligibility and Traveller Information

The person submitting a booking request must be legally capable of entering a contract, normally at least 18 years old, and authorised to book for all accompanying travellers. The lead booker is responsible for providing accurate details and communicating relevant terms to the travel group.

Traveller names may need to match passports, national identity documents, airline reservations or supplier records. Name corrections, traveller changes or document updates may be subject to availability, supplier rules, price differences and fees.

6. Payment, Invoices and Confirmation

HolidayHive currently supports invoice-based booking workflows, bank-transfer/payment confirmation handling and customer-uploaded payment receipts. Payment is due only according to the offer, invoice or confirmation sent for the relevant request. Deposits, balances, due dates and payment references may vary by product or supplier.

The customer portal may show request received, offer sent, accepted, confirmed, invoice issued, unpaid, paid or similar operational statuses. These labels should be read with the specific offer and invoice terms for that booking.

7. Supplier Terms and Accommodation Information

Suppliers may impose rules on check-in, deposits, damage, occupancy, children, pets, meals, facilities, accessibility, cancellation, late arrival and local conduct. Supplier-specific rules should be presented before final confirmation where possible.

Accommodation descriptions, ratings, images and amenities are based on available information and may change. Rooms can vary from images, seasonal facilities may close, and renovations or local conditions may affect the stay. HolidayHive aims to present information carefully and correct known errors promptly.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for checking travel dates, destination, names, guest numbers, passport and visa requirements, health rules, insurance needs, check-in instructions and suitability of the requested travel service. HolidayHive does not provide immigration or medical advice unless expressly agreed in writing.

We recommend suitable travel insurance for cancellation, medical expenses, repatriation, baggage and disruption where relevant. Insurance is not mandatory through HolidayHive unless a particular supplier or destination requires it.

9. Changes, Cancellations, No-Show and Refunds

Customer change or cancellation requests must be sent to HolidayHive as soon as possible. Date changes, traveller changes, accommodation changes, destination changes and upgrades are subject to availability, supplier rules, price differences and any transparently disclosed charges.

Refund eligibility depends on the confirmed booking terms, supplier conditions, payment status and applicable law. Refund timing may depend on suppliers, banks and payment processing. If a customer does not arrive or misses a transport/service without timely notice, supplier no-show rules may apply.

10. Supplier Cancellations and Extraordinary Circumstances

If a supplier cancels, closes, ceases operation or inventory becomes unavailable, HolidayHive will try to assist with reasonable alternatives, rebooking or refund handling where appropriate under the confirmed terms.

Events outside reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, war, civil unrest, epidemics, strikes, government restrictions, airport closures or infrastructure disruption, may affect travel services. This section does not remove mandatory consumer rights.

11. Complaints During Travel and Customer Conduct

Customers should report problems promptly to the supplier where appropriate and to HolidayHive so there is a reasonable opportunity to help. Supporting information such as photos, receipts or written supplier responses may be requested.

Customers must not abuse staff, damage property, violate local laws, commit fraud, misuse the website, or attempt to access another customer’s data. Suppliers may refuse service where legally justified.

12. Website Use and Intellectual Property

You must not attack, scrape disruptively, reverse engineer, impersonate others, introduce malicious code, bypass security or use the website for fraud. HolidayHive branding, design, text, graphics, code and original photos are protected. Supplier content may belong to suppliers or other third parties.

13. Liability, Governing Law and Jurisdiction

HolidayHive is responsible for its own obligations under applicable law and confirmed terms. Independent suppliers are responsible for services they provide. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by Swiss law, subject to mandatory consumer protections and mandatory jurisdiction rights that may apply. Where legally permitted, disputes are handled by the competent courts in Zurich, Switzerland.

14. Privacy, Changes and Contact

Personal data is handled according to the HolidayHive Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We may update these Terms, but updates do not automatically rewrite the terms of already confirmed bookings unless applicable law or the agreed booking terms allow it.

If a provision is invalid, the rest of the Terms remains effective as far as legally possible. Contact HolidayHive using the company details below for questions about these Terms.
